Responsibility of The Elephant Sanctuary:

  • The Elephant Sanctuary is responsible for ensuring the safety and welfare of all guests and animals during the activities.
  • The Elephant Sanctuary reserves the right to refuse entry to any guest who fails to comply with the rules and regulations.

Activities:

  • All activities are conducted in accordance with animal welfare guidelines and Thai law.
  • Guests are responsible for their own safety and must follow the instructions of the staff at all times.
  • The Elephant Sanctuary is not responsible for any injury, loss or damage to personal property during the activities.
  • Guests must disclose any medical conditions or disabilities that may affect their participation in the activities.

 

Program Changes

If there are any unforeseen circumstances or changes that may affect the tour program, The Elephant Sanctuary will make every effort to notify the guests as soon as possible. In such cases, guests will be given the option to reschedule or receive a full refund. However, The Elephant Sanctuary reserves the right to make changes to the tour program due to weather conditions or other factors beyond its control.

Payment

Payment for the tours can be made via credit card or cash on the day of the tour. A deposit may be required for group bookings or during peak season, and this will be communicated to you at the time of booking. In the event of cancellation or no-show, deposits are non-refundable. The remaining balance for your tour can be paid on the day of your visit. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who fails to make payment or to anyone who is deemed a risk to the safety and wellbeing of our staff or animals.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation by the Guest:

  • In the event that you need to cancel your reservation, please notify us by email or phone as soon as possible.
  • If you cancel your reservation more than 48 hours before the scheduled tour date, you will receive a full refund.
  • If you cancel your reservation between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled tour date, you will be charged 50% of the tour price.
  • If you cancel your reservation less than 24 hours before the scheduled tour date or fail to show up, you will be charged the full tour price.

Cancellation by The Elephant Sanctuary:

  • In the unlikely event that The Elephant Sanctuary needs to cancel a tour for any reason, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule for another date.
  • The Elephant Sanctuary reserves the right to alter or cancel a tour due to unforeseeable circumstances such as extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, or government travel advisories.

Refunds

Refunds are available according to the following schedule:

  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled activity date: Full refund
  • Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled activity date: 50% refund
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled activity date: No refund

Refunds will be made to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear, depending on the payment processor’s policies. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a tour, a full refund will be issued to the customer.

Insurance

While we provide insurance for our customers, it is strongly recommended that they have their own insurance coverage as well. The insurance provided by the sanctuary may have limitations or exclusions, and having additional insurance can provide extra protection in case of unexpected events or emergencies.

Entire Agreement
